Amandeep and Robert’s Alexander Suite winter wedding was a wonderfully stylish and intimate celebration at Edinburgh City Chambers, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

They were married in the Alexander Suite, with Amandeep arriving with her dad in a modern short wedding dress and Robert waiting in a smart double-breasted navy suit. After the ceremony, congratulations and group photographs, everyone headed outside for a brilliant sparkler exit at City Chambers to finish our coverage.

Amandeep & Robert’s Alexander Suite Winter Wedding

Amandeep and Robert chose the Alexander Suite at Edinburgh City Chambers for an intimate winter wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends.

The day stayed wonderfully simple, with the ceremony, congratulations and group photographs all taking place at City Chambers before everyone headed outside for a sparkler exit to finish the afternoon.

A Stylish Winter Wedding at City Chambers

Amandeep wore a modern short white wedding dress with structured cape sleeves and patterned lace tights, carrying deep purple calla lilies that added a bold splash of colour.

Robert looked equally smart in a double-breasted navy suit, and their outfits worked beautifully against the historic interiors of the Alexander Suite.

Rather than photographing the details separately from the day, we concentrated on how everything came together naturally as the ceremony unfolded.

An Intimate Ceremony in the Alexander Suite

Amandeep walked into the Alexander Suite with her dad, with Robert waiting for her at the front of the room.

We photographed the ceremony quietly and unobtrusively, focusing on the reactions, vows, rings and little moments between them and their guests.

One of our favourite moments came just after they were married, when Amandeep and Robert shared a tender forehead kiss.

Congratulations & Family Photographs

After the ceremony, everyone had time to congratulate the newlyweds before we organised a few family and group photographs.

Because the Alexander Suite and its adjoining areas are compact and easy to move between, this part of the day could stay relaxed without taking Amandeep and Robert away from their guests for long.

A Sparkler Exit at Edinburgh City Chambers

To finish our coverage, everyone headed outside City Chambers for a sparkler exit.

With winter darkness arriving earlier, the sparklers stood out brilliantly and gave the afternoon a completely different feel from the ceremony photographs inside.

Amandeep and Robert walked through their guests as everyone cheered and waved sparklers around them — a fun, energetic way to finish their wedding photography.
