Absolutely. Every wedding photo you see on our website comes from a real wedding we’ve photographed — we don’t use styled shoots or staged portfolio sessions to represent our work.
Across the site, you can see thousands of real wedding photos from Edinburgh and across Scotland. Many images link to complete wedding stories and venue pages, where you can see how we photograph an entire day, not just a handful of favourite portfolio images.
That gives you a much better idea of what to expect from your own wedding photos, including ceremonies, candid moments, family groups, speeches, portraits, evening celebrations, and changing light and weather throughout the day.

Our wedding photography combines natural documentary moments with relaxed, beautifully composed portraits.
For most of the day, we photograph what happens naturally — the reactions, conversations, laughter and quieter moments you might otherwise miss. When it’s time for your portraits, we’ll give you enough direction to help you feel comfortable without making the photos look stiff or overly posed.

Yes. We photograph most of the day naturally, so your gallery includes candid wedding photos of genuine reactions, conversations, laughter, and all the little moments happening around you.
We also photograph family groups and create relaxed portraits of you both. We’ll give you simple direction when it helps, but we never aim to make the photos look stiff or heavily posed.
That means your final wedding photos include both the unscripted moments that tell the story of the day and the more polished portraits you’ll want to keep and print.

The number of wedding photos you receive depends on the length of your coverage and what happens during the day. A full-day wedding naturally produces a much larger collection than a shorter ceremony or elopement, so we don’t work towards an arbitrary fixed number.
Instead, we aim to give you a complete set of wedding photos that tells the day’s story without filling your gallery with unnecessary duplicates. That includes the important moments, people, details and reactions, along with your family photographs and couple portraits.

We typically deliver your complete wedding gallery within four weeks, and often sooner depending on the time of year.
If you’re happy for us to share a small preview, we can usually post a few wedding photos on our social media within a few days of the wedding.
We review and professionally edit every image in your final gallery before delivery.

Rain doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on great wedding photos. After photographing hundreds of weddings in Edinburgh and across Scotland, we adapt quickly when the weather changes.
We’ll use good indoor spaces, covered locations, and short dry spells when they appear, rather than letting the forecast dictate the whole day.
If you’re happy to brave a little rain for a few minutes, it can also lead to some brilliant photographs — but we’ll never keep you standing outside unnecessarily.
