These Caledonian Edinburgh wedding photos tell the story of Keeley and Attilio’s brilliant summer celebration in the heart of the city, with a civil ceremony at The Caledonian, drinks with family and friends, relaxed newlywed photographs in Princes Street Gardens and an evening reception back at the hotel.

After the ceremony, we took a short walk into Princes Street Gardens for photographs with Edinburgh Castle in the background before returning to the hotel for dinner, speeches, their first dance and a packed evening celebration.

Keeley & Attilio’s Summer Wedding at The Caledonian

Keeley and Attilio chose The Caledonian for a relaxed summer wedding in central Edinburgh, with the ceremony and celebrations at the hotel and a short trip to Princes Street Gardens for their newlywed photographs.

Our coverage began shortly before the ceremony, giving us time to photograph Attilio with his best men outside the hotel and capture the final preparations before everyone gathered.

Wedding Morning & Arrivals at The Caledonian

Before the ceremony, we photographed Attilio and his best men outside The Caledonian, then headed inside as guests arrived.

Keeley wore a beautiful Sottero & Midgley wedding dress and made her entrance with her father, walking down the aisle surrounded by family and friends.

A Civil Ceremony at The Caledonian

Keeley and Attilio were married in a warm and relaxed civil ceremony at the hotel.

We photographed the ceremony unobtrusively, focusing on their vows, family and friends’ reactions, the exchange of rings, and the little moments around them, rather than interrupting the ceremony for photos.

Afterwards, everyone had time to congratulate the newlyweds and enjoy the drinks reception before we headed outside for a short portrait session.

Wedding Photos in Princes Street Gardens

Princes Street Gardens are only a short walk from The Caledonian, so Keeley and Attilio didn’t need to disappear from their guests for long.

We used the gardens for a relaxed set of newlywed photographs, including views towards Edinburgh Castle, before walking back to the hotel for the rest of the celebrations.

Keeping the portrait session short meant they got plenty of variety without turning the drinks reception into a lengthy photoshoot.

Dinner, Speeches & Dancing at The Caledonian

Back at The Caledonian, the evening continued with dinner, speeches and plenty of candid moments between guests.

After Keeley and Attilio’s first dance, the dance floor quickly filled, and we photographed the evening as it unfolded — reactions, dancing and all the unscripted moments that finished the day.
